Musicbytes will become The Music Pavilion
Visit The Music Pavilion (Landing Page)
I have been working pretty steadily on the upgrade from Musicbytes into a rebranded, completely redesigned web application: The Music Pavilion. The new site is using the Umbraco CMS rather than WordPress.
It was a little bit of a surprise, however, hosting for this site is due to expire/auto-renew at the end of February 2018. The Music Pavilion will be on a new host, so this is making me jump into action because I want/need to have the new site launched before that. I’m hoping to retain the domain, even though it’s through this host, because it would be nice to have older readers who may visit this URL be redirected to The Music Pavilion automatically.
✪ Important: there will be no more posts to musicbytes.us due to a post/data export performed this morning. I’ll be importing those posts into The Music Pavilion as quickly as I can. However, they may not be completely imported when the site is launched. Also, I may not have tags setup upon launch, thus filtering by tag may not be available right away.
The Music Pavilion’s main structure, so far, will include:
- Album/Concert Reviews
- Artist Features
- Music Resources (such as music programs, charities, other non-profit organizations)
- Upcoming Concerts (soon to be adding filters)
